FOREIGN LEGAL CONSULTANT CERTIFIED

Cristina Zanardi is a fully licensed attorney in Italy and a certified Foreign Legal Consultant in Florida.
After graduating from the University of Bologna School of Law in 2001, she traveled to the USA to further her research on the penal system. Ironically, while on her way to Riker’s Island in New York City on September 11, 2001 to interview the warden, the Twin Towers were struck by terrorists and her life was forever connected to this country. Although she clerked and practiced in Italy from 2001 to 2005 with a focus on criminal and immigration law in the city of Bologna, her focus on the USA landed her an internship in New York City in 2005 and a 3 year Trainee position with the law office of Richard Alvoid, PA.

In Italy, Ms. Zanardi has obtained numerous credits and certifications in Italian immigration law, criminal law, communication, and forensic psychiatry. She focused her degree thesis on the “Detention of Foreign Prisoners” and published an article on “Racial Discrimination in the Sentencing of US Prisons”. In addition, she has traveled to some 13 countries and derives much professional satisfaction from working with immigrants.
She is currently managing the Italian branch office in Bologna, in addition to providing services for the American office as a foreign attorney, interpreter, liaison and now recently certified as a Foreign Legal Consultant since 2015.
